The game is primarily played using the mouse, with keyboard shortcuts available for faster navigation:

• 1 to 0 do Pick up and place Pokémon (1 = top-left slot, 0 = bottom-right slot)

• Q do Open Profile

• W do Open Map

• E do Open Team Management

• S do Open Shop

• Z do Toggle Show Damage (Shows enemy stats for the current wave or your Pokémon’s damage output)

• X do Show unit ranges

• Space do Next wave

• ESC do Close the current window (You can also click outside the in-game window)

For the desktop version, the game must be re-downloaded manually from the official itch page whenever an update is released.

The browser version updates automatically, usually within a few minutes/hours after an update (a short delay may occur while everything is deployed).

Important do It is strongly recommended to export your save file before updating.

To export your save data:

• Open Settings

• Scroll down to Data

• Click Export data

• Click Download

This will generate a .txt file containing your game save.

To import your save data:

• Open Settings

• Scroll down to Data

• Click Import data

• Click Upload .txt

• Select your .txt save file

• Click Load save

Your progress will be restored immediately.

Yes, you can play the browser version on mobile directly from the game’s website.

However, the game is not optimized for mobile devices, and the best experience is on PC.

There is no scheduled release date for updates. Updates are released when they’re ready, so please avoid asking for ETA.

Not all Pokémon can be obtained through eggs in the shop.

Some Pokémon are hidden and must be unlocked through specific in-game actions, while others are earned as rewards from challenges.

You can check this guide to learn how to unlock them.

Challenges are unlocked once you meet all of the following requirements:

• 540 stars

• 30 or more Pokémon in your box

• Defeat the Wave 100 boss on the corresponding map

To evolve Inkay, it must be level 30 or higher and have the Inwerter item equipped.

Once both conditions are met, Inkay can evolve.

Shiny Pokémon can be obtained through Smeargle ability.

Smeargle can affect all Pokémon you own, including those in your team and in your box, as long as they are in their final evolution form. Each hit has a chance to trigger a shiny conversion.

Important notes:

• Shinies are cosmetic only and provide no gameplay benefits

• Exception do Clefable gains a +1 damage bonus when shiny

• Base shiny chance do 0.011% (1 in 9,000)

• With Shiny Charm do 0.033% (1 in 3,000)

The Subwoofer allows you to change the music on each map.

Segmental's Bicycle unlocks access to the wave manager. Once unlocked, the wave manager allows you to start a map at any Wave you choose, as long as you have previously completed that map by defeating its boss.

To unlock the wave manager on a map, you must clear all 100 waves at least once, including the boss.

Once unlocked, it will appear in the bottom-left corner, next to your team.

It allows you to repeat the current wave.

There is no official tier list at the moment. What’s considered “best” is largely subjective and can change from one version to another.

A community-made tier list will be available on the website in the future. It will reflect general opinions, but it should not be considered an absolute source of truth.

In the meantime, we recommend experimenting on your own or joining the Discord to get opinions from other players.

Make sure you’ve reached one of the checkpoints (25, 50, 75, or 100).

If Auto mode is enabled, go to the settings and set Auto Reset to Retry instead of Restart.

Yes, whether you’re playing in your browser or using the downloaded version, the game will continue running in the background unless your PC or browser settings prevent it.

No, you don't need to. You're free to complete as many as you'd like in each run, so completing them one by one if it makes it easier on you.

When a Pokémon that applies Curse on a target, it leaves a mark on them. When a different target gets applied with Curse, all marked targets will take damage.

Of the statuses that are in the game right now (Burn, Poison, Slow, Stun, Curse, and Nightmare), only Poison and Nightmare can stack, both of which get stronger each time it is applied onto the same target. Not being able to stack does not mean that you cannot have multiple statuses on a target at a time, only that you cannot apply multiple of the same status on a target.
